thinking critically about my sources

So far, my sources that I have read, have been predominantly about homeopathic medicine, and complementary medicine in the alternative aspect. I found it interesting that I have not seen any negative criticisms in any of the sources that I have read. They all pretty much support each other on the fact that alternative medicine is good for our society. In the complementary pieces, it explains that people really seem to be responding to the idea of using tradition western medicine and alternative medicine together. Which makes sense, because we already no that western medicine practices work. We go to the doctor all the time and they seem to cure us, it may take a while but it still works. Then we have the alternative medicine, that people in other countries have been using for hundreds of years, and it seems to be working for them. So why not have the best of both worlds and combine the two. We could end up never getting sick. It would be awesome :)

my research question: complementary medicine being used in our health care system today, and if there are benefits to introducing the idea into our every day life. I need to modify and refine my question eventually

research

I am invested in my topic, homeopathic medicine, because I have spent a lot of time looking for scholarly sources. I am very interested in this topic because I am going to be a nurse, and I enjoy looking at all aspects of medicine. Obviously my research relates to me since Im going to be a nurse, and it is medicine.

For my research paper I will be looking at homeopathic medicine. I haven't decided the details of it yet, but I know I will be doing something with it. This subject is important to me, because I am going into nursing and I wanted to look at homeopathic medicine and find the differences and maybe learn something new about my subject I will be studying. My audience will be the professors reading my final portfolio and my peers. I am looking forward to expanding my own knowledge on the subject ( which is very limited right now) and broadening my horizons.
